Sometimes family isn't just limited to those related by blood.
. Colored entirely in GIMP, I have no idea how many hours spent on it (how do you people keep track of that, anyway? have a little timer for how long you've been running the program or something?) Done mostly for a fanart contest being held by the English VA for Roy Mustang, my attempt to try to outdo a certain person in the 'drama' category. Original skecth can be seen here. Note: As the title and first sentance above suggest, this image is based on the idea of Roy as a father figure towards Ed, NOT any sort of romantic pairing of the two. >_> |

Dragon's breath, the purest of fires, darkness will not prevail.
Ed's mouth is a bit too high on his face, and his automail hand looks smaller than his flesh hand. There also seems to be something wrong with Roy's jawline, but that's probably my inner cell-shading whore going "NO OUTLINES?! ROAR!"
Other than that, I like it. All fluffy and heartwarming. =3
...and fangirls will be fangirls, ne? -_-;; Though, the third comment was added after one or two RoyxEd comments were made, but the other two were already there (including the title of the image!!)

I am personally a fan of RoyxEd stuff, but this one I can see as purely father-figure Roy and Ed. This is simply adorable. I love all the soft colours, and that candle is pretty nifty-looking.
I'm so adding this to my faves, too cute to resist! Awesome job!
